a dreamwidth question:

when I upload an image to DW's hosting and I write a description, where does that.. go

not the SHORT description, i can see that's screenreader alt text and that's laudable
there's another description field and i see it when i'm doing 'manage images' but does anyone else ever see it? thumbnails just hotlink to the fullrez on its own

if the long description is just meant to be internal for my own purposes i'll stop writing commentary so dilligently when i upload...

i cant believe dreamwidth will let me upload 50 images at a go and i can't believe i have the rank hubris to DO it, and then caption and transcribe all of them

when i first read CMWGE/GMD i got so jazzed about the characters and, like, had nobody to discuss them with yet.. and somehow that pressure spontaneously manifested in drawing short comics. i was just so ready to see these characters (de montreal) interact (with de montreal)
